Designed for the launch of Adidas' Deerupt collection, Intersection transformed the shoe's defining grid into architecture. Rather than applying a pattern to a surface, the installation explored what happens when lines are layered and crossed: depth and spatial ambiguity emerge from a single graphic system.
A large-scale mural wrapped the space in overlapping grids, shifting between dense fields and open frameworks. As lines accumulated, the grid's underlying order gave way to optical effects. Surfaces appeared to bend and recede, dissolving the flatness of the wall.
At the entrance, a mirrored tunnel distorted reflections into fluid, wave-like forms. Visitors became part of the installation as their movements fragmented across its mirrored surfaces. Light, reflection and geometry combined to blur the boundary between physical space and optical illusion.
Drawing on the Deerupt palette, Intersection translated a graphic identity into a spatial experience. Through the repetition of a single visual language, the grid ceased to function as a fixed pattern and instead became a dynamic field that shifted with each visitor's movement and perspective.
